Serving
When starting a volleyball game the first team must serve the ball from the end line of their side to the opposing teams side. To serve a volleyball start a couple steps away from the end line and hold the ball out in front of you at about your stomach in your non-dominant hand, with your palm facing upwards. Toss the ball up about three feet in front of your dominant side. Step with your non-dominant foot first and throw your dominant arm straight up so that it is level with the ball. While taking your last step with your dominant foot start winding up your arm to slap the ball. Right after you take your last step snap your arm and hand at the ball with enough force to make it over the net, but not too much force sending it out of bounds. It's best to contact the ball at the highest point you can reach.
